ElectroCat headlining Pike’s Peak Hill Climb!

Before neither ElectroCat nor I ever set our foot on the Pike’s Peak, we are headlining the event! Check out the “Latest news” at www.ppihc.com.

The pressure is building up for the Pike’s Peak International Hill Climb on June 27th. Cells for a brand new battery pack are on their way from A123Systems and a spare controller is on its way from Kelly Controls. A spare motor arrived from Mars Electric not too long ago. You can’t race without spare parts!

We won’t be the fastest up the hill, that’s fore sure, but we will do our very best to be the very first electric motorcycle to concur this famous mountain!

ElectroCat has also got “new clothes”: the University of Denver and Kelly Controls stickers are already on, and the A123Systems logos are on their way. ElectroCat will soon look like a real race machine!

Picture: If you don’t have the fancy little tool to apply vinyl stickers – an ice scraper and a piece of Burburry inspired fleece fabric makes one. This particular ice scraper was a gift from the former president of the Swedish Association of Automotive Journalists Ingemar Norberg. How could he know that I would need an ice scraper just like this…?

Picture: It came out perfect!
