ElectroCat is at this very moment at Stockholm-Arlanda Airport, waiting to be shipped to USA!
It is scheduled to arrive on Sunday, and if everything goes smoothly I will get it before Christmas. What a perfect Christmas gift!
Shipping a bike is complicated and expensive (the total cost will be between 15 000 and 20 000 SEK…). And then I have to get new batteries, because I couldn’t ship the lithium batteries by air, despite that lithium-iron phosphate batteries are safe. All kinds of lithium batteries wear “the mark of the devil” of being dangerous, and the regulations don’t accept any kind of lithium batteries.
Anyway, I am very happy that the bike is on its way, and the agony dealing with all paperwork is hopefully over.
